In honor of Earth month, MoAD Mix: A Spirited Discussion on Art & Culture kicks off our new virtual series with "Black eARTh," a deep dive into the intersections of Black art, music, and the environment. This vibrant session explores how Black artists respond to climate change, environmental justice, and the state of the world through their creative practice. We’ll discuss powerful visual works and music that address ecological and cultural resilience, all in an open forum that invites reflection and connection. Guests are invited to sip along with a Pomegranate Gimlet—or its alcohol-free version—a recipe from Toni Tipton-Martin’s bestselling Juke Joints, Jazz Clubs, & Juice. Join us as we mix art, dialogue, and spirit into one meaningful evening.
MoAD Mix: A Spirited Discussion on Art & Culture is a refreshing re-imagination of Art As We See It.
Once you register for the program, you will receive an acknowledgement email with the zoom link and drink recipes. If you don't receive this email, please check your junk mail or spam folder.
