MoAD & Fivepoint will be presenting a Family Art Activity from 1-4pm and two Sip & Paint sessions from 12-2pm & 3-5pm led by artist Jermaine Dante Burse. The Sip & Paint sessions are for adults 21 years of age and older.
Jermaine Dante Burse is a prolific, self-taught artist who began drawing impressive black and white sketches on almost any surface he could find when he was three years old. Those black and white sketches have evolved into a vibrant and captivating exploration of color and texture. It features a unique blend of abstract shapes and forms that create a mesmerizing, dynamic and engaging visual experience.
Each brushstroke is infused with intention and emotion, telling a story of resilience, hope, and the beauty found in overcoming adversity. "My art serves as a reminder that amidst life's challenges, there is always room for growth, beauty, and inspiration."
Jermaine Dante's work continued to evolve, but his commitment to authenticity remains unwavering. He has never lost sight of the young artist who had once filled the walls of his childhood room with dreams and sketches. Today, he is not only a successful and internationally known fine artist but also a beacon of inspiration for aspiring artists worldwide. Jermaine Dante's journey is a testament to the power of following one's passion and the extraordinary heights that can be reached when creativity meets dedication.
